Hi, I’m Whitney!
I’m an Entertainment Reporter/Host turned Healthy Living Blogger, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and soon-to-be Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, here in the heart of Los Angeles.
When I first came to Hollywood, I was fascinated by celebrities. How did they look so beautiful, skinny, and fabulous all the time?!
I made it my mission to find out.
Every time I interviewed an actress, I grilled them on their diet and exercise routine and their tips for staying fit.
I quickly learned though, there’s no big secret. Despite what you see in Carl’s Jr. ads, they work incredibly hard for their hot bods and stick to very strict diets.
Not everyone does it the right way though, which is one of the main reasons I started this blog. I wanted to take the positive lessons I’ve learned and share them with other people looking to lose weight, look great, or simply improve their health. And, I wanted to debunk any harmful myths perpetuated by Hollywood along the way.
The more I learned about exercise and nutrition though, the more I realized how much I still didn’t know. So in September 2013, I decided to go back to school to pursue my long-time dream of becoming a Registered Dietitian. I am currently enrolled in USC’s Masters of Science Program for Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity, while still attending the occasional star-studded event. I also became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine in September 2014.
This blog is a chronicle of my balancing act between enjoying the Los Angeles scene and maintaining a happy, healthy, and mostly normal life.

Disclaimer: I am a Certified Personal Trainer but you should consult your doctor before beginning any new fitness routine. I am not a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (although I am a Masters Candidate in Nutrition at USC and anticipate earning my RDN in 2016). All opinions expressed here are just that, my opinions.
