Dark Chocolate Cranberry +
Pistachio Granola

Dark Chocolate Cranberry Pistachio Granola Recipe

This may sound a little weird, but I wish you could smell my house right now.

It smells like happiness.

Who needs holiday candles when you can toss some oats with cinnamon and ginger in the oven and instantly feel all warm and fuzzy inside?

Homemade Dark Chocolate Granola with Pistachios

The smell of this granola is almost as delicious as the taste — almost.

Once you try it, you’re a goner.

I’m talking “wake up in a cinnamony haze covered in crumbly oats with an empty jar next to you” kind of situation.

Homemade Dark Chocolate Cranberry Granola

It happened to me and I fully blame the smell. It all started with the smell.

This Dark Chocolate Cranberry Pistachio Granola is a take on my Blueberry Cinnamon Granola and it is so incredibly easy to make!

It takes all of five minutes to assemble. Then after a quick 20 minutes in the oven, you’ll be fist deep in crunchy goodness.

The best part is just how nutritious it is. Thanks to the sweetening and binding properties of the banana, this snack is super low in sugar.

The oats provide cholesterol-lowering, fiber-packed whole grains and the pistachios and chia seeds add a small dose of beneficial fat.

Even the somewhat “sinful” chocolate chips are on the healthier side, as this brand is sweetened with stevia instead of sugar.

  6. Awesome recipe! Homemade granola is so easy to make. I don’t know why anyone would buy the stuff that’s been sitting in grocery stores for who know how long!! The dark chocolate and ginger in this recipe have me intrigued. I will definitely try it! 🙂
